FREQUENTLY ASKED Q'S
1. What tablet & program do you use?
I use an 11'' 64GB 2018 iPad Pro and second gen Apple Pencil with Procreate for 99% of my process and port my finished drawings into Photoshop for some post process color grading, sharpening, and additional texture work.2. What brushes do you use? How do you get that texture?
My most commonly used brush is a pencil from this free pack provided by Nadiaxel on her YouTube channel. I also use this brush pack Sinix released for free on his channel. I also use some of the basic Procreate brushes! My favorites are the Chalk and Dry Ink brushes (:The texture in my work comes from a combination of the brushes I use, crosshatching, and use of Procreate's noise filter (Billows @ 5-8% scaled up to 20%).3. Do you take free art requests?
Unfortunately I can't afford to! If you can't afford my commission prices, please feel free to tip any amount to my ko-fi page with a sketch request. I can't promise I'll fulfill it right away depending on my workload but if I have the time I'll put in the work equivalent to the amount donated (or possibly more if the mood strikes!)4. Do you do art trades or collabs?
It depends on my work load, but please reach out to me and I'll let you know, chances are if we're mutuals I'd love to work with you!5. How long did you take to complete [insert artwork]?
My rendered headshots usually take me 5 to 6 hours, busts a little longer depending on the armor complexity. More painterly renders take about double that time, which is why I don't offer them for commissions currently. My sketch portraits take a little under 2 hours. Character ref sheets can take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours depending on how detailed I get.6. Can I use your artwork for my banner/avatar/etc.?
As long as it's not a piece commissioned by someone else, absolutely, but please credit me in your bio if you do.7. Can I repost your art?
No.8. Do you design tattoos? Can I get your work tattooed?
Currently no, however I'm willing to negotiate a price over a tattoo design. Keep in mind my rendered style might not be suitable for a tattoo. I can provide basic linework and crosshatching without color or additional rendering upon request, which might work better. You can get my work tattooed as long as it's not a piece commissioned by someone else and as long as you're not selling the design itself to the tattoo artist. If you or the tattoo artist post an image of the tattoo to your socials I'd appreciate a link back to my Twitter! I'd also appreciate a tip on my ko-fi page if you do use my work (:9. Do you have dogs & can I see them?
YES! DM me <3
